Smart Art of Injections

FDA Panel Votes: Restylane "Lip" indication:

WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

News flashes across our computer screen, newspaper, TV, twitter, email, FaceBook, wherever we look to the news...
It can be difficult to know how to interpret it all. In cases such as these it is best to go to the source.  For over 20 years Filler Injectors have been injecting various dermal fillers into the Vermillion Border and the Lip.  This is the first nationally publicized conversation we have heard that hints at opening conversations between device manufacturers and injectors regarding one of the most challenging injection areas.
As soon as discussion of these "off-label" but often practiced indications is permitted, conversations about safety can begin in earnest.  At Smart Injector, we are encouraged.  We hope you are too.
Meanwhile, here is the road to information.  This recommendation is not approval, but it is a great opportunity and a sign of hope regarding training, treatments, and product safety.
